Lake Security is a registered close corporation, vat registered and is compliant with P.S.I.R.A. (Governments controlling authority) Leon Halliday, the MD created this company in 2002 from humble beginnings, the first contract was in Noordhoek. Our registered office is situated in Noordhoek, Cape Town, South Africa! Lake Security is a family owned and run business.

Lake Security has had phenomenal growth from the beginning and within a few months had taken over approximately 80% of all guarding contracts in the area, and within 24 months approximately 99% of all guarding contracts were acquired from some of the largest security organizations in SA

With humble beginnings and only 7 security officers, this has currently increased to around 150 security officers, therefore one of the largest employers in the immediate area, Lake Security has never lost any of its original clients and most of the original 7 staff are still employed.

Lake Security is one of the only security companies supplying physical guarding, that has never lost a contract due to bad service!

Lake Security has had the rare privilege of guarding the most expensive house ever sold in South Africa (approximately R150 million).

Lake Security has a hands on style of management.

Lake Security is the only security company in South Africa that has its very own GPS management system specifically programmed for patrolling guards and is unique to this industry.

Staff are trained to the strictest of standards and are provided with refresher courses when necessary.

Our vehicles patrol 24 hours and our supervisors maintain strict discipline at all sites. Our supervisors check staff on-site at least once and often more, during each successive 12 hour shift.

All complaints, constructive criticism are dealt with immediately to ensure that service levels remain extremely high and efficient.

Our commitment to the community has resulted in over 1 million rands put back into the area’s most needed.

In 2009 and with many requests, management saw the need to form a new division catering to the executive protection market, just in time for the soccer world cup in 2010.

Lake Security also specializes in the supplying GPS trackers for the guarding industry, utilizing unique software aimed directly at tracking and preventing problems before they become an issue.

We also provide GPS trackers for personal use as well as for motor vehicles!

My family and I moved to Imhoff`s Gift at the end of November 2009. We would like to congratulate you on your staff and the excellent service that they render in our small community. The guards are always courteous and vigilant and seem to take their duties seriously.

Hello Leon

I would like to just express my sincere thanks to “Phillip” your Lake
Security Guard who was on duty on the evening of 13th July 2010….

My Labrador of one and a half years was hit by a drunk driver in Rameron
Road, the evening of 13th July; and he took the initiative to take the
registration number of the driver, follow him, and contact Norman and his
wife who collected my wounded dog in a bakkie and safely delivered her to my
door…

I believe when he tried to follow the driver, the driver set his dogs on
him…

please keep this in mind – I must actually say I am very impressed with your
